12 Week Training Program
Preparation is everything when it comes to climbing some of the world's highest peaks.
Most climbers don’t know how to properly prepare—and that’s why they don’t summit. The Summit Series is a tailored plan that builds the strength, endurance, and mental toughness needed for your climb. Whether you're just starting out or already in shape, we’ll guide you step by step to ensure you're summit-ready. If you’re serious about reaching the top, this is the program that will get you there.

Program Requirements
Participants should have a baseline fitness level, be committed to consistent training, and be open to coaching throughout the 12-week program. Designed for athletes preparing for high-altitude climbs, the program focuses on strength, endurance, recovery, and mental resilience. Athletes should also be signed up for an expedition in late May or June to ensure the program aligns with your climb timeline.
Already Signed up For An Expedition
You must be officially registered for a major mountain expedition, whether it's Denali, Everest, Kilimanjaro, Rainier or other challenging climbs. This program is for climbers who are committed to their mountain pursuit and ready to put in the work leading up to the challenge.
Basic Level Of Fitness
Participants should already have a solid baseline of fitness. You should be comfortable with endurance activities like hiking, running, or weightlifting. This program will build on that foundation, focusing on the specific strength, endurance, and mental toughness needed for high-altitude climbs.
Access To Training Equipment
You'll need access to a gym with equipment like weights, barbells, resistance bands, and cardio machines—or better yet, the ability to train outdoors with similar gear. Specific exercises require tools to help simulate the strength, endurance, and functional movement needed for the unique demands of high-altitude mountain climbing.
Commitment To A Structured Training Plan
You must be ready to commit to a structured, rigorous training schedule over the next several months to prepare your body and mind for the physical and mental challenges of your expedition.

Coaching Access
Receive personalized guidance from me, Liz, a performance coach, and Nikki, a seasoned mountaineering guide. This dual-coaching approach ensures you get expert support in both physical conditioning and technical climbing strategy, preparing you mentally and physically for every challenge of your big mountain pursuit.

Join an exclusive community of athletes pushing each other to reach their pursuits. This group is all about accountability—no slacking off. You’ll train hard, share progress, tackle challenges, and stay driven together, ensuring you’re always moving forward, even on the tough days.

All of your training sessions will be accessible at your fingertips via the Everfitt app. Through the app, athletes will receive feedback, log data, view progress, & plan for future training sessions.
This is NOT a program for those who are injured. If you are currently dealing with chronic pain or recovering from an injury, 1:1 coaching is the best program fit for you. Reach out for more details.
We’ll track your progress through regular assessments and weekly progressions. You’ll also receive feedback from the coaches to ensure you’re progressing toward summit readiness.
